What ‘brand-grade’ means at a PG

14 Mar 2026 · 6 min read · Niharika Iyer · Design · hoplive

Identical interior across two properties

A brand-grade PG means a resident in Koramangala and one in Madhapur should be able to walk into each other’s building blindfolded and know where the kitchen is, what the welcome card looks like, and which switch controls the geyser.

Same façade signage with the 600mm building roundel and 3000K backlight. Same brass kettle on every welcome desk. Same six-page WhatsApp playbook for the building managers. Same Tuesday-night mealplan rotation.

Why? Because the moment a resident has to relearn ‘where’s the laundry room’ at every property, they stop being a hoplive resident and become a guest. Brand-grade is what keeps the experience consistent enough to be trustworthy.

Trust is the actual product.
